Marketing Assistant / Office Manager – London (Onsite 5 days a week)

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a passionate and people-focused Marketing Assistant / Office Manager to help deliver a unique and memorable visitor experience at their flagship London office. This isn’t your typical front-of-house or marketing admin role—the office has been designed as a dynamic showcase of cutting-edge workplace technology, and you’ll play a key role in bringing it to life through events, brand experience, and day-to-day office operations.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll help manage high-quality communications, support the delivery of events, and ensure every interaction—whether with internal teams, partners, or visitors—is polished, warm, and brand-aligned. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for creativity, outstanding attention to detail, and the confidence to represent the brand with energy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management & Hosting: Act as the face of the office, ensuring a welcoming, professional environment for visitors and employees. Manage office supplies, equipment, and liaise with service providers.
  • Event & Meeting Coordination: Support the planning and delivery of on-site events, client visits, and internal functions—everything from room setups to guest logistics and follow-up communications.
  • Marketing Support: Assist with marketing campaigns, social media scheduling, reporting, and content support. Maintain marketing calendars and help organise marketing assets and communications.
  • Cross-Department Support: Collaborate with Sales, Technical, and Leadership teams to ensure seamless coordination for campaigns, visits, and meetings.
  • Brand & Experience Standards: Ensure all touchpoints in the office—from welcome signage to refreshments—align with brand expectations and create a professional, memorable impression.
  • Client & Event Feedback: Help gather feedback after meetings and events, and support in reporting on outcomes, ROI, and improvement opportunities.

About You:

  • A confident communicator, both face-to-face and in writing.
  • Friendly, professional, and proactive with a genuine interest in people and service.
  • Highly organised with strong time-management skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-driven with pride in creating polished, brand-consistent environments.
  • Comfortable working across teams and juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 1+ years’ experience in a marketing, events, office management or customer-facing role.
  • Experience organising meetings or events, either internal or external.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and using initiative.
  • A relevant degree (e.g., Marketing, Events, Business, Communications) is desirable but not essential.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a tech, agency or client-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM or marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Canva, scheduling tools) is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic marketing or branding principles.

This is a fantastic opportunity to blend creative marketing with high-impact office and event coordination, in an environment that values fresh thinking and outstanding service. If you're enthusiastic, resourceful, and excited to contribute to a growing team, our client would love to hear from you.
