We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery across a multi-year IT resilience and modernisation programme. The role will coordinate a range of technical workstreams focused on improving disaster recovery, business continuity, technical debt remediation, and platform modernisation across a large enterprise IT estate.
Working within a consulting-led delivery model, the Project Manager will oversee multidisciplinary technical teams delivering infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration initiatives, legacy system retirement, and resilience improvements across both core IT services and business-critical applications. This role requires strong experience managing complex technical programmes, coordinating engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver structured outcomes while maintaining governance, risk management, and delivery momentum.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple technical workstreams across the programme.
- Coordinate technical teams including architects, engineers, analysts, and specialists.
- Maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation across workstreams.
- Ensure workstreams progress in line with programme priorities and timelines.
- Establish and maintain programme governance including RAID logs, reporting packs, and delivery dashboards.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders and programme sponsors.
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring mitigation plans are implemented.
- Ensure alignment with internal governance processes including design reviews, change management, and service transition.
- Coordinate engagement between internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Facilitate workshops, delivery checkpoints, and technical decision-making forums.
- Ensure required approvals, technical inputs, and testing activities are secured to support delivery timelines.
- Oversee the delivery of initiatives including:
- Technical debt remediation across infrastructure platforms
- Migration of legacy applications to modern platforms
- Cloud platform and Microsoft 365 improvements

- Proven experience delivering complex IT infrastructure or cloud transformation programmes.
- Strong background managing projects involving platform upgrades, system migrations, or infrastructure modernisation.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams including architects, engineers, and analysts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk, governance, and programme reporting within structured delivery environments.
- Experience managing stakeholders across technical teams, business leadership, and third-party vendors.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, or Microsoft technologies.
- Experience delivering disaster recovery or business continuity initiatives.
