Key Responsibilities as Credit Controller:

  • Manage invoicing and collections processes to ensure timely payments.
  • Monitor outstanding debt and follow up with customers professionally.
  • Produce debtor reports and support cash flow management activities.
  • Resolve payment queries and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Process supplier invoices and coordinate payment runs.
  • Ensure transactions are accurately recorded and supported.
  • Handle supplier queries efficiently and maintain strong financial controls.
  • Assist with month-end processes and account reconciliations.
  • Support VAT, audit, and compliance activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance procedures and reporting.
  • Act as a key contact for finance-related operational queries.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience within Credit Control, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Bookkeeping, or Finance Operations.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strong communicator with natural relationship building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing startup.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, NetSuite, or similar.
  • A genuine interest / background in sports is essential.
