Our client, a FinTech scale-up is looking to find a Regulatory Subject Matter Expert to join their RegTech team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to get broad exposure to Capital and Liquidity regulations across a range of financial services industries with a front-facing element whilst managing and leading a small team.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of client-facing regulatory implementation projects and support clients across capital and/or liquidity.
- Work closely with internal and external engineers and technicians in order to achieve clients’ brief.
- Be a Regulatory subject matter expert.
- Manage and train junior team members aiding with any queries.
- Develop documentation and training material for clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of regulatory reporting with market risk and product experience preferable.
- Exposure to liquidity and capital experience would be advantageous.
- Experience in capital reporting, credit risk or market risk is required.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex regulatory rules (CRR/ IFR).
- Strong communication skills. Confident problem-solving and presenting to clients and key decision-makers.
