We are seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join a fast-growing and innovative RegTech company. As part of the Implementation team, you will leverage your regulatory reporting expertise to support the architecture, development, and expansion of our reporting portfolio in collaboration with our Product team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of client-facing implementation projects, defining business requirements (e.g. new regulations, new products) and supporting clients with data mapping.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Engineering teams to deliver regulatory reporting solutions.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a family of regulatory reports, staying up to date with regulatory changes and industry developments.
  • Support the design and maintenance of regulatory returns in partnership with Lead Engineers.
  • Engage directly with clients during implementation calls, providing guidance, training, and responding to queries.
  • Provide SME support to the Customer Success team for BAU client queries.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex regulatory frameworks (e.g. CRR / IFR).
  • Expertise in at least one reporting area: capital, liquidity, leverage, balance sheet, credit risk, or market risk.
  • 3+ years’ experience as an SME at a regulated firm or consultancy.
  • Experience in client-facing roles (internal or external stakeholders).
  • Strong understanding of banking products (loans, securities, derivatives).
  • Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables).
  • Experience with financial data analysis and data mapping.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with strong team collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with regulatory reporting software solutions.
  • Experience working with engineering teams and writing business requirements.
  • Background in a similar role at a RegTech or consulting firm (e.g. Senior BA / Managers).
  • Experience in credit risk, capital, or market risk.
