Our hedge fund client is looking for an operations specialist, responsible for daily clearing, settlement, financing and reconciliation activities across products and accounts, ensuring accurate trade capture, timely issue resolution, and strong operational controls in a dynamic trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily trade, cash, position, and market value reconciliations across products and accounts.
- Support the full trade lifecycle including booking, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation of cross product transactions.
- Monitor positions, balances, and exposures to ensure data integrity and operational accuracy.
- Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Produce and interpret operational and risk reports to support decision-making and trading efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in equity and/or multi-asset operations, middle office, or trade support roles.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement processes, reconciliations, and operational controls.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Able to work confidently with data.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools is an advantage.
- Flexible and willing to adjust to the needs of a global trading environment.
