Our client a scaling hedge fund are looking to hire a Fund Controller to help create, establish and then expand their Fund Accounting, NAV Reporting and Product Control function.
This will be the first hire within this area, so requires a candidate who has previous experience of creating these functions and associated reports within a fund launch environment.
This is a 5 days in the office role in London
Responsibilities:
- Create, build and run the Fund Accounting and Product Control elements of the business previously done by affiliate firms and third part fund administrators
- NAV Reporting & cost pass through
- Create the investor reporting
- P&L Reporting & Valuations
Experience
- Direct Fund Accounting experience, ideally directly within another Hedge Fund
- Experience of a Fund Launch
- Preferably a Qualified Accountant
- Would consider Product Control/Valuations experience or Fund Accounting experience in a Fund Administrator directly for Hedge fund clients
