Truly unique opportunity to join a global PE backed sports startup – founded by professional athletes – to support their continued international expansion. They have built a high-calibre team, with a leadership team assembled from pioneering sporting organisations and global tech giants. This newly created role will act as a glue between the Events, Operations and Finance teams, whilst owning the budgeting and forecasting process across the global events calendar.
Key Responsibilities as FP&A Analyst:
- Own event budgets and rolling forecasts in close partnership with operational leads
- Build and maintain financial models with scenario planning and margin analysis
- Track actuals vs forecast with variance commentary at event and group level
- Produce dashboards covering key metrics: cost per participant, sponsorship margin, YoY growth
- Deliver post-event financial reviews with actionable recommendations
- Streamline reporting workflows and improve financial data accessibility across teams
Key Requirements:
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- 2+ years in FP&A / management accounting / business partnering OR audit
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communicator with natural relationship building skills
- A genuine interest / background in sports is essential
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing startup
