Invenire Group is excited to partner with a global FinTech business to appoint a Director of Group Reporting. Working for a genuine market leader in this newly created role, the Director of Group Reporting will take ownership of all aspects of internal and external financial reporting, the design and execution of a robust reporting strategy, and lead a team of circa ten talented professionals.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA qualified from a top practice with significant post‑qualification experience, including extensive US GAAP and SEC reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement an effective financial reporting strategy – ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and SEC regulations.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to the Executive Leadership Team – providing crucial insight on trends, risks and reporting strategies.
  • Oversee financial reporting, both internal and external.
  • Oversee group consolidation processes across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Lead and develop an ambitious team of ten.
  • Act as primary point of contact for internal and external auditors.
  • Support and challenge complex accounting judgements by wider finance teams – ensuring alignment in external financial reporting.
Key Requirements
  • Top practice trained – ideally Big 4.
  • Significant post‑qualification experience gained in industry (sector agnostic).
  • Extensive US GAAP and SEC reporting experience.
  • Drive and gravitas – you need to be able to influence at board level.
