Global Listed FinTech based in Central London (hybrid) is seeking a Director of Group Reporting with a salary range of £180-220k plus a significant package. This newly created role involves taking ownership of all aspects of internal and external financial reporting, designing and executing a robust reporting strategy, and leading a team of approximately 10 talented professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement an effective financial reporting strategy – ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and SEC regulations.
- Act as a strategic business partner to the Executive Leadership Team – providing crucial insight on trends, risks and reporting strategies.
- Oversee financial reporting, both internal and external.
- Oversee group consolidation process across multiple entities and currencies.
- Lead and develop an ambitious team of 10.
- Act as primary point of contact for internal and external auditors.
- Support and challenge complex accounting judgements by wider finance teams – ensuring alignment in external financial reporting.
Key Requirements:
- ACA (or equivalent) qualified.
- Top practice trained – ideally Big 4.
- Significant post-qualification experience gained in industry (sector agnostic).
- Extensive US GAAP and SEC reporting experience.
- Drive and gravitas – ability to influence at Board level.
