We are seeking a Consolidation-focused Management Accountant to join a well-established financial services organization. This role is a key part of the group finance team, responsible for delivering accurate consolidated reporting and supporting robust financial control across a multi-entity structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated management accounts
- Ownership of the group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments
- Review and analysis of subsidiary results, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Support the preparation of group statutory accounts and audit processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at group level
- Maintain and enhance consolidation models, systems, and processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide clear financial analysis and insight to support management decision-making
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience in group consolidation within a Financial Services or similarly complex environment
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with multiple entities and tight reporting deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with consolidation tools or ERP systems is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
