Invenio are seeking a SAP FICO Consultant / Senior Consultant to join a major SAP Tax & Revenue Management (TRM) programme. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to support the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP solutions within revenue management and public sector environments. This role is ideal for a SAP functional consultant with a strong background in SAP FI-CA and/or SAP IS-U who is looking to further develop expertise and cross train within SAP TRM and large-scale public sector projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and solution demonstrations.
  • Support the design and configuration of SAP FI-CA and related business processes.
  • Produce high-quality functional specifications, process documentation, user stories, and test scripts.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define and validate developments, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Support data migration, testing activities, defect management, and cutover planning.
  • Provide functional expertise and guidance to clients and project team members.
  • Contribute to project governance, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.
  • Support business development activities, proposals, and solution demonstrations where required.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as an SAP Consultant on large-scale SAP implementation or transformation programmes.
  • Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP FI-CA and/or SAP IS-U.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design, and functional configuration.
  • Experience supporting system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate and support workshops and engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Desirable

  • Experience with SAP Tax & Revenue Management (SAP TRM) - Full training will be given in module.
  • Experience delivering SAP solutions within Public Sector organisations.
  • Knowledge of revenue collection, debt management, taxation, benefits, licensing, or related government business processes.
