This is a rare opportunity for an experienced private wealth disputes lawyer to step into a role offering a genuinely transparent and supported path to partnership within the next 18-24 months.

The team is widely recognised in leading legal directories and advises on some of the most complex, high-value and international private wealth disputes in the market. Clients include:

  • Ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Entrepreneurs and business owners
  • Trustees and fiduciaries across multiple jurisdictions

The practice has a strong cross-border focus, including significant work across Asia and other global wealth centres, and is particularly known for handling multi-jurisdictional trust disputes and matters involving complex structuring and taxation issues.

Following a series of recent hires at mid and junior levels, and with further senior investment into the wider private wealth offering, the team is in a position of real strength and is now looking to appoint a senior lawyer who can play a key role in its next phase of growth. Crucially, the firm is committed to developing future partners from within. You will be enrolled from day one into a structured internal progression programme, offering clear visibility on expectations, timelines and the pathway to partnership.

This is a senior and highly visible position within the team. You will:

  • Lead and manage complex contentious trusts and private wealth disputes
  • Take ownership of client relationships and act as a key point of contact
  • Drive case strategy, working closely with partners on high-value matters
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team
  • Play an active role in business development and raising the team’s profile
  • Contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of the practice

The ideal candidate will have:

  • England & Wales qualification with 7–8+ years’ PQE from a leading firm
  • Strong experience in contentious trusts and private wealth disputes
  • A proven track record of working on complex, high-value and cross-border matters
  • Excellent technical grounding and a strong command of black letter law
  • Demonstrable experience leading matters and managing client relationships
  • Outstanding drafting, analytical and communication skills

Why Apply?

  • Clear, transparent path to partnership in a growing team
  • Structured development programme from day one
  • Opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with real influence
