Invenio Global is currently partnering with a prestigious international law firm to identify a high-calibre Real Estate (Planning) Solicitor/Associate to join their award-winning Planning & Environment team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on some of the most high-profile and complex development projects in the UK and beyond.
The Opportunity
The firm is widely regarded as a market leader in planning law, boasting a Tier 1-ranked team and a stellar client base that includes global developers, institutional investors, infrastructure bodies, and government organisations. Their collaborative Planning and Environment practice operates at the cutting edge of major regeneration, infrastructure, and energy projects—many of which are nationally significant or first-of-a-kind.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of exciting matters including:
- Mixed-use developments and landmark office schemes
- High-value residential and retail regeneration projects
- Infrastructure and energy initiatives (e.g., carbon capture, SMRs, and heat transmission)
- CPOs, DCOs, planning applications, section 106 agreements, judicial reviews, and litigation
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic legal advice on planning and environmental issues for major real estate developments
- Lead or support on key elements of complex planning transactions and project milestones
- Engage in client-facing work, with an opportunity to build your own network and BD profile
- Collaborate closely with leading experts across the firm’s Real Estate, Projects, Finance, and Construction teams
Key Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (NQ to 2 years\’ PQE)
- Experience in real estate planning gained at a top-tier UK/international firm or leading local authority
- Excellent academic credentials and strong attention to detail
- Team player with a proactive, commercial mindset
- Comfortable working in a high-performing, client-focused environment
