We are currently instructed on a fantastic opportunity with a leading Silver Circle firm in London, renowned for its collaborative and market-leading Competition practice. This is an excellent chance for a talented Competition lawyer to join a highly respected team advising on high-profile matters across the UK, EU, and global jurisdictions.
The practice is a cornerstone of the firm’s global Competition offering, acting as trusted counsel to major corporations on some of the most significant and complex matters in the market. The team is recognised for delivering innovative solutions that go beyond traditional competition law and for providing strategic advice on merger control, investigations, and litigation.
Key Responsibilities:- Advising clients on high-profile merger control matters before the CMA, European Commission, and global regulators.
- Supporting compliance and investigations, including cartel and abuse of dominance inquiries.
- Handling contentious competition litigation matters, often setting market precedents.
- Contributing to cross-border matters, working with US and other international regulators.
- Collaborating with a highly experienced team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- 1–5 PQE in Competition law, ideally from a top-tier firm.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable ability to manage complex matters and build strong client relationships.
- Commercially aware and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Hybrid working model: 3/2 split.
- Supportive approach to agile and flexible working patterns.
