I help connect commercial professionals within the life sciences & diagnostics industry with biotechnology companies across Europe. We are recruiting an NGS Sales Specialist to support the growth of an innovative Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Spatial NGS portfolio across the UK and Ireland. This role is ideal for someone who combines a strong scientific foundation in genomics with commercial curiosity. You’ll work closely with customers in academia, clinical research, government, and biotech, helping them adopt cutting‑edge NGS solutions while partnering with internal sales and applications teams to drive growth.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales growth of NGS and Spatial NGS instruments and reagents
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts
- Build trusted relationships with core facilities, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and decision‑makers
- Act as a technical and market expert, clearly communicating product value and differentiation
- Collaborate with field sales, inside sales, applications, marketing, and support teams
- Accurately track activity and pipeline using CRM tools
What We’re Looking For
- MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genomics, or a related life science
- Strong understanding of NGS workflows and applications
- Commercial mindset with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a field‑based environment
- Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland
