We are exclusively partnered with a globally recognised life sciences and genomics technology innovator to appoint an Inside Sales Director, EMEAI. This is a senior commercial leadership role directly with the company, offering the opportunity to shape and scale inside sales capability across EMEAI at a critical stage of growth.

The role is hybrid, with regular travel to the Oxford site, and reports directly to the VP Sales, EMEAI.

As Inside Sales Director, EMEAI, you will define and execute the regional inside sales strategy, driving revenue through lead conversion, pipeline acceleration, and high-performance team leadership. You will have direct influence on commercial outcomes by transforming inside sales into a strategic growth engine, closely aligned with customer services and technical support teams.

This role requires a commercially minded, people-focused leader who can set a clear vision, anticipate market dynamics, and embed scalable, data-driven sales practices.

  • Define, develop, and implement a clear inside sales vision and execution plan across EMEAI
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Inside Sales team to consistently deliver against revenue and conversion targets
  • Drive strong lead management, qualification, and pipeline progression
  • Clearly communicate sales objectives, priorities, and performance expectations to teams
  • Ensure optimal use of CRM systems, sales processes, and tools to maximise efficiency and results
  • Coach and mentor team members to build capability, progression, and long-term succession
  • Encourage innovation, ownership, and intelligent risk-taking to unlock new performance opportunities

PhD or MSc (or equivalent experience) in genomics, genetics, or a related life sciences field. Proven experience leading inside sales teams within genomics, life sciences, or adjacent high-technology markets. Strong track record of defining and delivering inside sales strategies that drive growth. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and scale high-performing commercial teams. Highly motivated and driven by ambitious commercial objectives. Willing and able to travel regularly to the Oxford site.
