About the Role
The Integrated Healthcare Manager (IHM) role requires an individual with field-based market access experience to work across the full healthcare system driving awareness and adoption of the Specialty Brand Portfolio. You will be required to work in partnership with local HCP’s including consultants, non-medical prescribers, medicines optimisation leads, and system wide clinical decision makers, including transformation leads to deliver evidence-based value propositions that drive adoption at scale.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for your business and given autonomy to develop your portfolio through engagement with key primary and secondary care decision makers.
- Build appropriate business relationships that enable you to achieve your objectives through collaborative projects that align system, patient and Company priorities.
- Develop positive market access for Company products, including system wide (ICS / HB) formularies and guidelines that maximise access and adoption of Company products at a local level.
- Familiar with using budget impact models and tailoring your value proposition to your audience.
- Map and understand the role key stakeholders play in relation to influencing, decision making and funding of medicines across the healthcare system.
- Develop strategic account plans that foster long term partnerships with NHS stakeholders.
Qualifications
- ABPI qualified
- Degree level education ideally life science and/or business related
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a branded role working across primary and secondary care
Required Skills
- Significant experience in the UK pharmaceutical market with a proven track record of hospital sales
- Evidence of working in a field-based market access role and delivering on strategic initiatives that benefit patients in primary care
- Experience of optimising formulary pull through in defined healthcare systems by delivering on collaborative projects which align system, patient and company priorities.
- Established relationships with system wide clinical decision makers including urology CRG leads (Cancer Alliance), medicines optimisation, GP clinical directors and transformation leads.
- Experienced at KOL development and a proven track record in achieving sales performance in hospitals
- Commercially astute / Strong business acumen – Analysis of market data to generate insights and develop strategic plans that focus on delivering adoption at scale.
- Deep understanding of evolving NHS and funding flows applicable to ICS\’s/HBs
Preferred Skills
- Experience of working in urology would be an advantage.
