Job Description
Invecta is proud to partner with a leading Lloyd's market firm to offer an exciting opportunity for a Syndicate Research Analyst.
This role sits within a top-tier organisation that plays a significant role in the Lloyd's market, known for its expertise in multi-line underwriting and strategic capital deployment.
Reporting directly to the Head of Research, you will be actively engaged across all aspects of syndicate research. This includes developing strong relationships with managing agents, analysing syndicate and market trends, and communicating your insights through various channels to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
You will play a key role in syndicate selection, using performance benchmarking, forecasting, and opportunity evaluation to support investment decisions within the Lloyd’s market.
This is a high-profile position offering excellent exposure across the Lloyd’s ecosystem and a rare opportunity to gain deep, strategic insight at this level.
To be successful, you’ll bring experience from the Lloyd’s or broader London insurance market—whether from a managing agency, insurer, or broker. Ideally, you will have a background in underwriting or syndicate performance analysis, with familiarity across specialty insurance lines.
Additional expertise in areas such as Lloyd’s capital requirements, outwards reinsurance, catastrophe risk, or valuation methods like CAPM or Arbitrage Pricing Theory would be beneficial.
A strong interest in data analytics is essential, and while proficiency with visualisation tools like Power BI is advantageous, it is not a requirement.
If you have a background in underwriting performance or a similar analytical role within the insurance market and are looking to broaden your scope, this is an outstanding opportunity to take that next step.
