Solutions Architect – Azure | Hybrid | Financial Services

We’re working with a forward-thinking insurance broking organisation that is undergoing a major modernisation journey. As part of this transformation, they’re seeking a Solutions Architect to play a central role in shaping scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the design and delivery of Azure-based architectures (IaaS, PaaS, serverless, data, AI/ML).
• Working cross-functionally to understand business capabilities and define target state architecture.
• Driving modernisation efforts, integrating cloud-native Azure services and legacy systems.
• Leading integration strategies (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and hybrid cloud communications.
• Developing reusable architecture blueprints and technical documentation (HLD/LLD).
• Supporting architectural governance, procurement decisions, and executive reporting.
• Mentoring engineering teams on best practices in Azure, DevOps, API design, and security.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong architectural understanding across infrastructure, software, data, and security.
• Proven experience in Azure migration and modernisation of legacy platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure (M365, Entra, APIM, Azure DevOps).
• Experience in microservices, AKS, API-first design, and middleware tools like Logic Apps and Service Bus.
• A track record of delivering system integration programmes at scale.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to simplify the complex for non-technical stakeholders.
• Background in Insurance, financial services or transactional banking systems (preferred).
