A global (re)insurance group is seeking an experienced insurance professional to take the lead on portfolio steering, partnering closely with the CUO office and pricing teams. The primary objective of this role is to establish robust oversight and insight across the organisation’s underwriting portfolios. As a multi-line business operating across major international insurance hubs, the position offers exposure to a broad range of classes including property, casualty and specialty lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quarterly portfolio steering cycle.
  • Develop frameworks for business, pricing and performance reviews.
  • Enhance planning processes and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Conduct deep-dives into classes of business to provide actionable information.

Qualifications:

  • Experience across multiple lines of business with a portfolio-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical capabilities aimed at optimising underwriting performance.
  • Prior portfolio management experience is advantageous; actuarial, underwriting, broking or similar backgrounds within the non-life insurance market are acceptable.
