The Role

As Head of Content, you will own the day-to-day execution and direction of INVADES’ consumer-facing content across social platforms. This includes ideation, planning, publishing, community management and overseeing content production with freelance teams. You will also play a key role in delivering content for INVADES brand partnerships, ensuring all client briefs are executed to a high standard while maintaining the INVADES tone, aesthetic and cultural relevance. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands internet culture instinctively and knows how to create content that performs natively across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Content Management
    • Lead the day-to-day management of INVADES’ Instagram and TikTok channels
    • Publish a minimum of 1 Instagram post per day
    • Publish a minimum of 1 TikTok post per day
    • Manage community engagement across platforms including comments, DMs and audience interaction
    • Monitor content performance and optimise based on engagement and platform trends
  • Content Strategy & Ideation
    • Develop creative content ideas aligned with youth culture, social trends and the INVADES brand
    • Plan and manage content calendars across all consumer channels
    • Stay ahead of TikTok, Instagram and emerging social media trends
    • Understand and apply the nuances between content designed for TikTok versus Instagram
    • Support the future expansion of INVADES’ content strategy across additional platforms including YouTube and emerging social channels
    • Help develop longer-form and episodic content formats where relevant
    • Identify opportunities to evolve INVADES’ content offering beyond short-form social content
  • Brand Partnerships
    • Work closely with INVADES partnerships team on content-led collaborations and campaigns
    • Ensure all content partnerships follow client briefs accurately while still feeling authentic to the INVADES audience
    • Liaise professionally and confidently with brand clients and external stakeholders
    • Support the creative development and execution of sponsored content campaigns
  • Production & Freelance Team Management
    • Coordinate and manage freelance creatives, editors, photographers and production teams
    • Lead editorial shoots and oversee content production from planning through delivery
    • Ensure INVADES brand guidelines and client briefs are consistently followed across all outputs
    • Maintain high editorial and creative standards across all content

Requirements

Essential

  • Strong content editing skills across short-form social content
  • Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram content strategy and platform behaviour
  • Experience working with YouTube and longer-form content formats
  • Strong creative instincts and an excellent pulse on youth culture, internet trends and social media
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work professionally with clients, partners and freelance teams
  • Experience managing content calendars and social publishing workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute briefs accurately

Preferred

  • Experience in a producer role or production environment
  • Experience working with freelance creative teams and external talent
  • Experience delivering branded or sponsored social content campaigns
