A specialist graphics company based in Northampton is seeking a skilled and motivated Print & Production Technician to join its growing team. The business operates to exceptional standards across design, print, and installation. This is a fast-paced, high-performance environment focused on delivering world-class results.
The Role
This is a hands-on position combining large format print production with occasional installation work.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality cut vinyl graphics
- Operate HP & Epson large-format printers (roll-to-roll)
- Use vinyl plotters and flatbed cutting systems
- Laminate prints using roll-to-roll laminators
- Prepare and set up artwork for production
- Maintain strict quality standards and meet deadlines
- Assist with vinyl installation and application when required
Essential Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in the sign & graphics industry
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with ONYX RIP software
- Skilled in operating large-format print equipment (HP, Epson or similar)
- Strong attention to detail
- Well organised and capable of working independently
- Able to perform in a fast-paced production environment
Desirable Skills
- Vinyl installation / vehicle wrapping experience
- Colour management and profiling knowledge
- Familiarity with materials such as 3M and Avery
- Understanding of large format file setup (bleed, scaling, resolution)
- Interest in motorsport or automotive sectors
