A specialist graphics company based in Northampton is seeking a skilled and motivated Print & Production Technician to join its growing team. The business operates to exceptional standards across design, print, and installation. This is a fast-paced, high-performance environment focused on delivering world-class results.

The Role

This is a hands-on position combining large format print production with occasional installation work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality cut vinyl graphics
  • Operate HP & Epson large-format printers (roll-to-roll)
  • Use vinyl plotters and flatbed cutting systems
  • Laminate prints using roll-to-roll laminators
  • Prepare and set up artwork for production
  • Maintain strict quality standards and meet deadlines
  • Assist with vinyl installation and application when required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 2–3 years’ experience in the sign & graphics industry
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience with ONYX RIP software
  • Skilled in operating large-format print equipment (HP, Epson or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well organised and capable of working independently
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced production environment

Desirable Skills

  • Vinyl installation / vehicle wrapping experience
  • Colour management and profiling knowledge
  • Familiarity with materials such as 3M and Avery
  • Understanding of large format file setup (bleed, scaling, resolution)
  • Interest in motorsport or automotive sectors
