We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established creative design and manufacturing business that specialises in delivering high-quality graphics and signage projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, our client is looking to welcome an Installation & Graphics Technician to their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that genuinely values quality, teamwork and flexibility, where no two projects are the same.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position combining installation work with project support and site coordination. You'll be involved in everything from installing bespoke graphics and signage to supporting surveys and liaising with the wider team to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing wallpaper graphics, vinyl wall graphics and wall coverings
- Fitting external signage, post signs, wall signs and wayfinding systems
- Installing bespoke display solutions, including Foamex panels and other fabricated items
- Using practical carpentry skills to achieve high-quality finishes
- Supporting site surveys and providing installation input to the design and production teams
- Completing snagging work and assisting production where required
- Managing project administration, including timesheets, RAMS, email communication and updating project management software
About You
Our client is looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing exceptional work and is happy to contribute as part of a collaborative team. Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous installation experience within signage, graphics or a similar industry
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Practical carpentry or woodworking skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using project management systems
- The ability to manage administrative tasks alongside installation work
- A proactive approach and excellent communication skills
IPAF and PASMA certifications would be advantageous, although they aren't essential.
Working Pattern
The standard working hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, although our client offers flexibility wherever possible. Some members of the team choose to start earlier and finish earlier, and they're happy to accommodate different working patterns where practical.
