InUnion Group is an ambitious, highly capitalised business operating across insurance, business-to-business services, and media. We are at the start of an exciting journey to build a significant global company — one that grows with purpose, acts with integrity, and creates real value for its people, clients, and shareholders. Our values guide everything we do: Integrity, Mindfulness, Persistence, Acumen, and Creative Thinking. We are looking for people who share these values and are ready to help us build something exceptional.
This is a rare and genuinely exciting role. As our first CFO, you will be a key architect of InUnion Group's future. You will work closely with the Founder and Chairman to build the financial foundations, systems, and culture that will support rapid, profitable growth — both organically and through acquisitions. You will be part of a small, high-performing leadership team with the ambition and resources to build a world-class business. This role comes with a competitive salary and significant equity, giving you a real stake in the success you help create.
What You Will Do
- Finance Leadership
- Lead and build a high-performing finance function from the ground up, scaling it as the business grows.
- Own the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow — driving strong top-line growth while delivering sustainable, profitable results.
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Founder and Chairman, providing clear financial insight to support bold decision-making.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to guide strategic decisions and investor conversations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital with discipline and precision.
- Corporate Finance & Capital
- Lead and support mergers and acquisition activity — from deal origination and financial due diligence through to integration.
- Manage relationships with banks and capital providers, including debt facilities and other funding structures.
- Support capital-raising activity as the business grows, working with advisers and investors.
- Technology & Innovation
- Champion the adoption of AI and modern finance technology across the finance function — you will be an early adopter and advocate.
- Deploy new tools and platforms that make our finance team faster, smarter, and more effective.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
- People & Culture
- Build and lead a finance team that reflects our values — collaborative, curious, disciplined, and results-driven.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with the board, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Be a generous team player who listens well, shares knowledge, and brings out the best in those around you.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience & Background
- Proven track record as a CFO or Finance Director, ideally with experience in both fast-growth businesses and larger organisations.
- Deep expertise in B2B services, with experience in the insurance sector strongly preferred. Experience in media and marketing is a plus.
- Demonstrable success in scaling businesses — you have helped companies grow, and you know what it takes.
- Strong grounding in M&A, corporate finance, capital raising, and bank debt — you have done this before and can lead it again.
- Experienced with a broad range of finance technology platforms and confident in evaluating and deploying new ones.
- Skills & Qualities
- Exceptional financial modelling and FP&A skills — you are the person others turn to when the numbers need to tell a story.
- Strong commercial acumen — you understand what drives a business and how financial decisions connect to real-world outcomes.
- A natural problem-solver with sharp analytical thinking and sound judgement under pressure.
- An excellent communicator — written, verbal, and in the room. You can explain complex ideas simply and persuasively.
- A genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technology — you are already using these tools in your own work.
- High energy, personally ambitious, and deeply motivated to help build a large, successful business.
- Disciplined and rigorous in your work, with an uncompromising focus on accuracy and delivery.
Values in Action
We are looking for someone who leads with integrity — honest, transparent, and consistent. Someone who is mindful in how they work, communicate, and make decisions. Someone with the persistence to push through challenges and the acumen to see opportunities others miss. And someone who brings creative thinking to every problem — always asking how we can do it better.
What We Offer
- A competitive senior executive salary, benchmarked to reflect the experience and impact we are seeking.
- Significant equity participation — a genuine opportunity to build meaningful personal wealth alongside the business.
- A seat at the table in a business that is ambitious, well-capitalised, and ready to grow.
- The chance to build something from the ground up with the support of an experienced, visionary Founder.
- A values-driven culture where good people are trusted, respected, and given the space to do their best work.
If you are an experienced finance leader who is ready to take on the challenge of a lifetime — and help build a global business from its earliest days — we would love to hear from you.
