Inuka is working with a leading investment banking firm to recruit a Vice President, Investment Banking (Energy & Infrastructure) based in London. This role will sit within the infrastructure banking team, leading execution of M&A and financing transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors, with a growing focus on emerging markets and the energy transition.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day execution of M&A and debt-raising transactions in energy and infrastructure
  • Manage deal processes, timelines, and junior team members to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Oversee financial modelling, valuation, and analytical workstreams
  • Drive preparation of client materials including pitch decks, information memoranda, and investment papers
  • Act as a key client-facing contact throughout transaction lifecycles
  • Provide technical oversight across due diligence, negotiations, and transaction documentation
  • Support origination efforts through market research and client engagement

Qualifications:

  • 6–8 years of experience in infrastructure or energy investment banking
  • Strong track record in M&A transactions
  • Proven ability to run deals and manage multi-workstream transaction processes
  • Excellent financial modelling and valuation expertise
  • Client-facing experience with strong communication and presentation skills
