We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in both manual and automated testing of enterprise-grade applications. You will work closely with Software Engineers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure that our applications meet functional, performance, and usability standards. This is a hands-on role for individuals who are passionate about building high-quality products and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced start-up environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and testing requirements
  • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
  • Perform regression, integration, and system testing
  • Contribute to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integrations
  • Validate new features and enhancements prior to production release
  • Support performance and reliability testing initiatives
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles
  • Promote quality-first development practices across engineering teams

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
  • Experience testing web-based applications and APIs
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (.NET environment advantageous)
  • Experience working in cloud-hosted environments such as Microsoft Azure
