We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in both manual and automated testing of enterprise-grade applications. You will work closely with Software Engineers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure that our applications meet functional, performance, and usability standards. This is a hands-on role for individuals who are passionate about building high-quality products and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced start-up environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and testing requirements
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
- Perform regression, integration, and system testing
- Contribute to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integrations
- Validate new features and enhancements prior to production release
- Support performance and reliability testing initiatives
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles
- Promote quality-first development practices across engineering teams

What We're Looking For
- 2–5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Experience testing web-based applications and APIs
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (.NET environment advantageous)
- Experience working in cloud-hosted environments such as Microsoft Azure
