Policy Wording Specialist – Hybrid (London or Leeds)

We are seeking a
Policy Wording Specialist
to join our team, working closely with the Head Office Underwriting function. This role will ensure our product wordings remain
market-leading, compliant, and strategically aligned
.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the
  document compliance process
  , liaising with stakeholders for sign-off and approvals.
• Collaborate with
  Underwriting & Product Management
  to ensure wordings meet or exceed market standards.
• Draft, update, and deliver wording changes, coordinating with stakeholders for smooth implementation.
• Lead the
  annual wording reviews
  and take ownership of associated actions.
• Support senior underwriting leadership in aligning product wordings with
  strategic, regulatory, and statutory developments
  .
• Maintain a
  centralised log of all wording changes
  , ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in drafting, updating, and reviewing
  insurance policy wordings
  .
• Strong knowledge of
  regulatory, statutory, and governance requirements
  .
• Experience leading
  annual wording reviews
  and delivering changes collaboratively.
• Skilled in maintaining centralised, auditable records to support governance and audit.
• Excellent
  attention to detail
  and
  written communication
  .
• Ability to align product wordings with
  strategic and regulatory developments
  .
