Role Description
We are looking for qualified Maths, English, and Science teachers to deliver engaging, high-quality tuition to small groups of students.
- This is an on-site teaching role based at our
- Heald Green and Cheadle Hulme centres. Lessons are
2 hours long and take place during evenings and weekends , making this an ideal opportunity for teachers seeking additional teaching hours alongside other commitments.
Teachers will
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students' individual learning needs.
- Teach small groups in a supportive and focused tuition environment.
- Prepare students for school assessments and GCSE examinations.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and student achievement.
- Communicate professionally with parents and carers where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching
Maths, English, or Science within the UK curriculum.
- Strong lesson planning and classroom teaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and support students of varying abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and reliability.
Preferred
- Experience preparing students for
GCSE examinations .
- Previous experience teaching in a tuition centre or small-group setting.
