About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential service supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). The service includes a mix of homes, including two multi-placement homes and a solo placement, providing a structured and supportive environment for children and young people. This is a hands-on role where you will support day-to-day care, promote positive outcomes, and help maintain a safe, consistent and nurturing home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to handovers

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (essential or working towards)
  • Experience within children's residential care (senior level preferred)
  • Experience supporting EBD (preferred) or LD/complex needs
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Driving licence (advantageous but not essential)

Working Pattern

2 on / 4 off rota

Full-time, 40 hours per week
