The Opportunity
We’re hiring on behalf of a confidential transport & technology project launching autonomous vehicles in London. This is a brand-new, first-of-its-kind role in the UK ideal for people who are practical, calm under pressure, and enjoy problem-solving on the move.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to autonomous vehicle issues across London
- Reach vehicles within 15 minutes
- Troubleshoot faults using apps and onboard systems
- Handle real-world situations (e.g. blocked vehicles, passenger issues, breakdowns)
- Occasionally drive vehicles (left-hand drive) to depots or repair sites
Key Details
- Shift work (including nights): 04:00-12:30, 12:30-22:00, 22:00-04:00
- Cover multiple London postcodes
- Willingness to cycle (bikes introduced after onboarding)
- Remote breaks may be required
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence (3+ years, clean)
- Right to work in the UK
- Good English communication
- Comfortable using technology
- Able to pass drug & alcohol test
- Clear Basic DBS (can be arranged)
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently
