About the Role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to lead shifts and provide high-quality care for our young people. You will support daily activities, education, and statutory meetings, ensuring a consistent, therapeutic approach. This role includes supervising and mentoring staff, maintaining high standards within the home, and safeguarding the welfare of all residents. Key Responsibilities · Lead shifts, supervise staff, and ensure consistent, high-quality care in line with regulations. · Support young people’s daily routines, education, therapy, and personal development. · Implement care plans, risk assessments, and LAC documentation, attending statutory meetings as required. · Safeguard young people, respond to challenging behaviours, and promote positive outcomes. · Build strong relationships with families, social workers, and external professionals. · Assist with household tasks, budgeting, and maintaining a safe, homely environment. · Contribute to staff induction, training, and professional development. · Complete accurate reports, records, and administrative duties. · Provide cover for management when required and participate in the on-call system.
