About the Role

We are recruiting for a Childrens Home Registered Manager to lead and inspire a residential team delivering therapeutic, child-centred care. This role will see you take full responsibility for managing the home, leading staff, and ensuring young people receive safe, nurturing, and high-quality support. You will play a key role in maintaining strong standards, achieving positive outcomes for children, and ensuring the home meets all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of a childrens residential home
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • Inspire, motivate, and develop a skilled staff team
  • Promote a therapeutic, safe, and nurturing home environment
  • Manage performance, staffing, and service delivery
  • Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and stakeholders
  • Maintain occupancy targets and positive inspection outcomes

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £42,500 - £47,500 per annum
  • Quarterly performance bonuses (up to £18,000 annually based on occupancy and Ofsted outcomes)
  • £5,000 relocation package available
  • 224 hours annual leave increasing to 248 hours after 4 years
  • Additional 3.5 days leave (birthday, wellbeing, volunteering, festive half-day)

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in residential childcare

  • Proven record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
