Passenger Assistant / Passenger EscortAbout the RoleWe are recruiting a reliable and caring Passenger Assistant / Passenger Escort to support passengers during their journeys in Hammersmith & Fulham, West London, ensuring their safety, comfort and wellbeing. This role involves assisting children, vulnerable passengers and individuals with disabilities or mobility difficulties, working closely with the driver to provide a safe and supportive transport service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support passengers throughout their journeys, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Assist passengers with disabilities or mobility difficulties when boarding and leaving the vehicle
- Supervise and reassure passengers during transport
- Work closely with the driver to maintain a safe and reliable service
- Report incidents, safeguarding concerns or changes in passenger needs
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS
- Ability to support passengers with mobility difficulties or additional needs
- Understanding of the needs of children and vulnerable passengers
- Patient, caring and reliable approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant wheelchair and disability xgikmsk awareness training, or willingness to complete the required training
Pay Rate
- £16.63 per hour
