About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Private Hire Sales Executive to support the growth of a busy coach hire operation in Cardiff. The role will focus on generating and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings, developing new and existing client relationships, and helping maximise revenue across corporate travel, schools, events, tours and private hire transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage private hire enquiries, bookings and quotations
- Convert enquiries and quotes into confirmed coach hire bookings
- Generate new business through outbound sales activity
- Build relationships with existing, lapsed and potential customers
- Develop business across corporate travel, schools, events, UK and international tours
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Use Coach Manager to manage bookings and allocate vehicles and drivers efficiently
- Work closely with Operations to maximise vehicle and driver utilisation
- Monitor sales performance, revenue and monthly KPIs
- Support compliance with driver hours, paperwork and relevant EU legislation
- Attend bus and coach networking and sales events where required
Requirements
- Proven experience generating leads, sales and new clients (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Private hire scheduling experience
- Vehicle and driver allocation experience
- Experience with international private hire bookings and requirements
- Strong new business and sales focus
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries
- Competent using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and results-driven approach
Salary & Benefits
- £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
- 25 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- Annual leave increasing to 30 days plus Bank Holidays after 5 years' service
