We are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to join a childrens residential home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced manager with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for Ofsted registration, staff leadership, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Successfully register with Ofsted and maintain regulatory compliance
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and all relevant standards
- Promote safeguarding and child protection at all times
- Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team
- Ensure resources and staffing are effectively deployed
- Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage financial performance and service delivery targets
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and best practice
- Support innovation and service development

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations
- Minimum 2 years experience working within childrens homes in the last 5 years
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Previous or current Ofsted registration as a Registered Manager (preferred)
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care/Leadership and Management (preferred)
