Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs? We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the operational delivery of a brand-new children's home in Hayes.

About the Role

As our Registered Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and child-centered environment. You will lead a dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of care, in line with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational delivery of a newly opened children's home.
  • Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted requirements.
  • Drive a high-quality, child-focused care environment prioritising safety, development, and wellbeing.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop your team, including rotas, appraisals, supervisions, and training.
  • Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, education liaison, and care planning.
  • Maintain budgets, accurate records, and uphold confidentiality and data protection.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota to provide effective support as needed.

What We Are Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 minimum; Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Health & Social Care) or working towards.
  • Eligibility to register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.
  • Proven experience managing a children's residential home.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and Ofsted standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • IT literate and able to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Full UK driving license (desirable).
