We are a fin-tech start-up with a successful suite of products, now ready to build the next big thing. You must thrive working on open-ended problems across a range of disciplines; we are a start-up where our engineers do much more than just pick up JIRA tickets. A typical week may include debugging Python, deploying infrastructure changes, talking to product early-adopters, and strategic planning with the team leads. Responsibilities- Working with product managers and engineers to design and deliver full-stack features end-to-end.
- Building and maintaining backend services and APIs in Python, with opportunities to work in Go or Rust.
- Developing user-facing applications using React and TypeScript.
- Deploying and operating cloud-native applications on AWS with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Maintaining, monitoring, and improving production systems and development workflows.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience building backend services in Python; interest or experience with Go and/or Rust is a plus.
- Experience developing modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud deployments and basic infrastructure concepts.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices: Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Docker.
