Summary
The Digital Engineering Apprenticeship includes a Level 3 qualification in Construction and the Built Environment and a qualification leading towards Incorporated Engineer status. We offer a competitive remuneration package, wellbeing benefits and an EAP to provide mental wellbeing support, guidance and advice.
- Annual wage: £24,500 a year. The pay may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.
- Training course: BTEC Level 3 Construction and the Built Environment or Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.
- Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week between 8am to 6pm.
- Possible start date: 01 September 2026
- Duration: 60 months

Work: As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work:
- Actively participate in the company mentorship program;
- Work towards Level 3 Digital Engineering Technician;
- Learn fundamentals of MEP systems;
- Use software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud);
- Navigate Revit project browser;
- Understand view templates, systems, filters and worksets;
- Basic family creation;
- Read and understand engineering mark-up drawings;
- Document control / information management;
- Drawing layout and presentation;
- Understand architectural and structural drawings;
- Perform detailed checks of own work;
- Model coordination;
- Pursue professional registration with CIBSE;
- Become a member of the Society of Digital Engineers;
- Obtain a CSCS Card;
- Attend site visits at least once per quarter.

Training & Qualifications
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
College or training organisation: Engineering Skills College, London Design and Engineering UTC.
Your training course: Level 3 Digital Engineering Technician Equal to advanced technical certification, BTEC or Diploma
Your training plan: Training will be conducted on-site in our London office based in Holborn.

Essential qualifications: The typical entry requirements for this Apprenticeship will be five GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English; or a Level 2 Apprenticeship.
