Technical Implementation Manager required for a fast-growing B2B FinTech that is building technology infrastructure for major banks and financial institutions globally. Their API-led platform enables banks to launch and scale new digital financial products while integrating with their existing core banking infrastructure.

The role involves owning complex client implementations end-to-end, from contract signature and technical discovery through integration, UAT, go-live and transition into BAU. Acting as the technical face of the delivery function, you’ll work directly with client architects, integration engineers, technology leaders and operational stakeholders, alongside internal Product and Engineering teams.

You’ll be expected to understand and challenge technical discussions covering:

  • REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks and data flows
  • API specifications and integration design
  • Cloud-native and containerised services
  • Production releases and technical dependencies

Alongside client delivery, you’ll establish strong governance across implementations, including RAID management, delivery planning, scope/change control, status reporting and senior stakeholder escalation.

Experience Required

  • Experience delivering complex technical implementations within banking, payments, FinTech or B2B SaaS
  • A track record working with large financial institutions or regulated enterprise clients
  • Strong knowledge of API-led integrations and the ability to confidently review and question technical documentation
  • Experience working closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers and Architects
  • Strong client-facing and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing several complex implementations simultaneously
  • Practical use of AI tools to improve reporting, documentation, analysis or delivery processes
  • Experience across payments, card issuing, Visa/Mastercard, BIN sponsorship, digital wallets, Apple Pay/Google Pay or money movement infrastructure would be particularly valuable.

Why this role is worth your time

You’ll be joining at an early stage in the development of the Implementation function, giving you genuine influence over how it operates. You’ll have the opportunity to create and improve implementation playbooks, governance processes, templates and delivery frameworks as the business scales internationally. If you’re a technically credible Implementation/Delivery professional who enjoys being at the intersection of clients, Product and Engineering, I’d love to hear from you.
