The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.

This role will play a vital part in supporting the Head of HR by maintaining accurate employee records, supporting key people processes and initiatives, and contributing to an engaging and positive employee experience, including supporting recruitment activities, with participation in interviews up to manager level when established in role.

THE ROLE

  • Manage the onboarding process to deliver a professional and positive new starter experience.
  • Maintain and manage employee records and HR systems, including holiday, training and benefit records, ensuring Excel trackers and SharePoint documentation are accurate.
  • Support key HR processes such as probation reviews, appraisals and training activities.
  • Provide first-line support on areas within remit, escalating to Head of HR where appropriate.
  • Support internal communication initiatives such as newsletters, events and surveys.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits and manage the training portal and records for ISO.
  • Act as an Ambassador for the company charity and actively support all related activities.
  • Assist in recruitment campaigns, apprenticeship schemes, internships and other people-related projects.
  • Provide proactive and responsive administrative support to the Head of HR, managing tasks and priorities as they arise to support the effective delivery of HR activities.
  • Record, maintain and submit HR related data including energy usage, vehicle logs and mileage.
  • Prepare accurate reports and statistics to support HR needs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience supporting HR administration, employee lifecycle processes and recruitment activities with the ability to develop interview capability up to manager level.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage a varied workload.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with confidence liaising at all levels.
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; use of SharePoint is an advantage.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) is preferred but not essential.
  • Driving Licence required due to multi-site locations.
