We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join an established construction business delivering projects across the North West.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
The Role
- Manage construction projects from start to finish.
- Prepare, monitor and update project programmes and short-term works plans.
- Coordinate Site Managers, labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
- Monitor progress and take corrective action where required.
- Manage project risks, opportunities and resources.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Provide regular progress reports and project updates.
- Work closely with the commercial team on variations, costs, forecasting and contractual matters.
- Ensure high standards of health & safety and quality throughout the project.
- Lead and support site-based teams.
- Manage project documentation, handover and close-out.
About You
We are looking for a confident and experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong understanding of project delivery and site operations.
You should have
- Previous construction project management experience.
- Strong programme and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and construction best practice.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Relevant construction management experience on projects £5M plus
- HNC/HND or degree in a construction-related discipline
