About Us
Intretech is an international consumer electronics manufacturer with 15 factories and more than 40 subsidiaries worldwide.
While we're a smaller player relative to the industry's biggest names, that's part of what makes us distinctive: candidates get to make a visible impact rather than being one of thousands in a large corporate structure.
Our multicultural and dynamic team is expanding, and we are seeking a driven Business Development Executive to lead account development and growth initiatives across European markets, supporting our European factory operations.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive with a proven track record in manufacturing, consumer electronics, or product development.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a persuasive negotiator, and a relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Your primary focus will be generating new business across European markets, identifying lucrative opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and nurturing deals through to successful closure, in support of our European manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development initiatives across Europe, bringing new accounts and revenue to our European factory operations
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, understanding client needs and market trends across European markets.
- Support the technical sales team in creating and presenting proposals that meet client requirements and company standards.
- Manage and nurture prospective deals and existing accounts, steering them through the sales pipeline to successful closure.
- Collaborate with global teams across the UK, Hungary, the US, and China, contributing to our collective success.
- Travel across Europe for client meetings, account visits, and conferences, with occasional trips to our factories and headquarters in China and other locations.
- Report directly to the Sales Director.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a business development role, ideally within manufacturing or consumer electronics.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong understanding of CRM tools (e. g. Hub Spot, Salesforce) and their application in sales strategy.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chains, and product development.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels of an organisation.
- Fluency in a European language is a strong advantage, particularly German or French.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural team environment.
- Valid passport, with willingness to travel across Europe as required.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Our Culture
At Intretech, you'll be part of a global sales team that values diversity, creativity, and a hands-on, get-things-done attitude.
We are troubleshooters and doers, united in our mission to lead the market through innovation and service excellence.
