Assistant Accountant – EMEA Finance Team (UK & Europe)

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Assistant Accountant to join our EMEA Finance team. In this role, you’ll support the Regional Business Partner – UK & Europe with the accounting and reporting for our UK/EU sales entities and North Europe inbound DMCs. It’s a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who’s ready to learn, build analytical skills, and gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of finance activities in a truly global business.

You’ll work closely with our Shared Service Centres and wider Europe Finance team to keep our financial processes running smoothly, from reconciliations and month‑end tasks through to compliance and audit support. Your work will support the accuracy and integrity of the financial information behind our regional operations.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts and perform month‑end close tasks for UK/EU sales entities and North Europe inbound DMCs.
• Support compliance and audit processes.
• Collaborate with Shared Service Centres and Europe Finance team.

Qualifications

• A degree‑level qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of accounting processes and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive, positive, can‑do attitude.
• Comfort working with diverse teams and across cultures.
• Willingness to learn and get involved in all areas of the business.
• Accountability, teamwork, and focus on detailed tasks.

Desirable

• Progressing towards CA/CIMA (or equivalent).
• Experience working in an international environment.

Availability

Permanent, hybrid role based in Brixton, London office – approx. 2–3 days per week in office.

Holiday pause

Over the Christmas and New Year period we will be pausing active recruitment. We will resume reviewing applications in early January.
