We are a small, close-knit team working in a busy yet relaxed environment, and we’re looking for a Customer Support Administrator to join us. This is a great opportunity for a hard-working, positive individual who enjoys being part of a supportive team while thriving in a fast-paced role. You’ll need a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay organised while delivering excellent customer service with professionalism and a good sense of humour.

Duties:

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the company database (including price checking/pricing).
  • Raise delivery notes, book vehicles, and liaise with couriers regarding deliveries, delays, and customer-related queries.
  • Communicate with customers daily via telephone and email, providing updates and support.
  • Handle customer queries or complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Use Microsoft Teams to communicate effectively with internal teams.
  • Liaise closely with the production team to schedule work and ensure orders are processed within the needed timeframe.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service/administrator roles preferred but not essential.
  • Strong written English skills, with the ability to compose clear, professional customer emails independently from brief notes.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including converting measurements from millimetres to metres, calculating square metres, estimating pallet sizes, determining appropriate vehicle sizes, and pricing orders by adding percentages and totalling figures.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively while managing multiple email accounts.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams for day-to-day communication and administration.
  • Experience with Xero accounting software and Smartsheet systems is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, while also being capable of working independently when required.
  • Takes ownership of their role, communicates clearly, and collaborates well with the wider team.

Training: On the job training will be provided.
