Intrepid Global is recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers.

The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for completing planned deliveries and collections while ensuring all transport operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with current legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 (Category CE) articulated vehicles.
Complete scheduled deliveries and collections across the UK.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately.
Ensure all loads are correctly secured and transported safely.
Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
Comply with DVSA regulations, Drivers' Hours Rules and the Working Time Directive.
Maintain accurate digital tachograph records at all times.
Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding journey progress, delays or incidents.
Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy and professionally presented.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need
A valid UK Category CE (Class 1) driving licence.
A valid Driver CPC qualification.
A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation and drivers' hours regulations.
A strong commitment to health and safety.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider transport team.
Flexibility to work varying start times, with occasional nights away when required.
