Intrepid Global is recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers for an established logistics client based in Loughborough (LE12). We have two ongoing contract opportunities available, both offering consistent weekday work, competitive pay and immediate starts.

The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely, efficiently and on time while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance.
Contract 1 – White Goods & Food Distribution
This role involves delivering a mixture of white goods and food products using curtain-sided trailers to commercial and customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 (Category CE) articulated vehicles.
- Deliver white goods and food products across planned routes.
- Complete daily vehicle safety inspections.
- Ensure all loads are secured correctly before transport.
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Provide a professional and courteous service at all delivery locations.
- Minimal manual handling, with assistance available at most sites.
Contract 2 – White Goods Distribution
This contract focuses on delivering large household appliances and is ideal for drivers who don’t mind a more physically active role.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver white goods to customer locations.
- Operate Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading where required.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and delivery documentation.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.
What We’re Looking For
- A valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) driving licence.
- A valid Driver CPC qualification.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours Rules and transport legislation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach.
- Flexibility to work early morning start times between 4:00am and 7:00am.
