We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Skip Driver for ongoing agency work based in Manchester, M17.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent work, early finishes and additional earning opportunities.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating Class 2 Skip and completing scheduled collections safely and efficiently.
Some days you will be working with a driver's mate, while on other days you may be working independently.
Duties Include:
- Driving Class 2 Skip vehicles.
- Completing scheduled collections.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
- Completing relevant paperwork.
- Following all road safety and site procedures.
- Managing your daily workload efficiently.
Pay & Benefits
- £17.76 per hour
- £5 daily lunch allowance
- Up to £39 one-man lift bonus
- The one-man bonus is available for qualifying lifts completed when working without a mate.
- 5:00am starts
- Usually finished by 2:00pm or earlier
- Paid for the full day, even if you finish early
- Ongoing agency work
- Immediate start available
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Skip or RoRo experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations
