The successful candidate will be responsible for making bulk deliveries to customers, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
This role requires a strong commitment to road safety, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.
Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in accordance with all road traffic legislation and company policies.
Complete bulk deliveries to commercial and residential customers.
Load, secure, transport, and unload goods safely.
Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
Complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery accurately.
Plan and follow delivery routes to meet schedules.
Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
Ensure all deliveries are completed in line with health and safety procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness and security of the vehicle.
Essential Requirements Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Minimum of 6 months Class 2 driving experience.
