We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Skip / RoRo Driver for ongoing agency work based in Manchester, M17. This is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent work, early finishes and additional earning opportunities.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating Class 2 Skip and RoRo vehicles and completing scheduled collections safely and efficiently. Some days you will be working with a driver's mate, while on other days you may be working independently.

Duties Include:

  • Driving Class 2 Skip and/or RoRo vehicles.
  • Completing scheduled collections.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
  • Completing relevant paperwork.
  • Following all road safety and site procedures.
  • Managing your daily workload efficiently.

Pay & Benefits

  • £17.76 per hour
  • £5 daily lunch allowance
  • Up to £39 one-man lift bonus (available for qualifying lifts completed when working without a mate).
  • 4:00am starts
  • Usually finished by 2:00pm or earlier
  • Paid for the full day, even if you finish early
  • Ongoing agency work
  • Immediate start available

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous Skip or RoRo experience preferred
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  • Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations
